VCCI

We can provide access to Japanese markets through the Voluntary Control Council for Interference (VCCI) approved EMC testing.

VCCI

Founded in 1985, the Voluntary Control Council for Interference (VCCI) is a membership organisation with the intended purpose of suppressing electromagnetic interference produced by Information Technology Equipment (ITE) in Japan.

The VCCI is managed under the Japanese Ministry of Information and Communications Council (MIC), and drafts, publishes, and approves Japanese technical EMC standards on limits and methods of measurement of electromagnetic interference for ITE based on CISPR recommendations.

Eurofins York (formerly York EMC Services) offers VCCI electronic product compliance testing.

Accredited VCCI testing

Eurofins York has laboratories that are registered with VCCI because of their accreditation to ISO 17025 and meeting the rules of VCCI.  Accreditation by UKAS for the emissions testing of ITE allows Eurofins York to be a Supporting Member of VCCI.

Our test reports are acceptable to the VCCI and this enables manufacturers to confidently place their ITE products on the Japanese market.

For more information on gaining VCCI approval for your product, please contact your local Eurofins York test laboratory.
