Introducing the new CGE 05 & CGE 06 Comb Generator Emitters

Designed to be compact yet feature-rich, both the CGE 05 and CGE 06 are housed in a purpose-designed enclosure that provides the maximum shielding whilst allowing the generators to be used either on their own with an external power supply or with the PPU01 rechargeable battery pack.
Featuring two user selectable frequency steps, 434 MHz or 0.5 GHz for the CGE 05 and 915 MHz or 1GHz for the CGE 06, the units are ideal for use as reference sources for a wide range applications including:
- Conducted and radiated measurement systems validation and verification
- Investigation and characterisation of different measurement environments such as fully- or semi-anechoic chambers
- Reference source for:-
- Daily pre-test checks as required by accreditation authorities e.g. ISO 17025, DEFSTAN 59-411
- Comparisons between test sites
- Long-term performance monitoring
- Investigation of screened room behaviour
- Cable loss measurements
- Evaluating component assembly characteristics e.g. filter loss, amplifier gain and bandwidth
- Spectrum analyser or receiver pre-checks
