New Directives Transposed into UK Law
The Statutory Instruments (2016 No 1091 and 2016 No 1101) transposing the EMC Directive 2014/30/EU and the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU into UK law were recently published.
They come into force in the UK on the 8th December 2016.
They enforce new supply chain obligations and new information requirements for apparatus placed on the market.
