UK’s EU Referendum Result
The people of the UK have voted to leave the European Union and the implications of this decision for engineering and technology will clearly be far-reaching.
Taking the UK out of the European Union will be a hugely complex and time consuming process, however, today we are still in the European Union and will be for at least the next two years. During this time it is important to remember that the legal position remains unchanged and that includes conformity with relevant European legislation including CE Marking.
In any case, one possible outcome of the exit negotiations is that the UK remains part of the Single European Market in which case the conformity requirements may well be unchanged.
So whatever your view of the outcome, please be assured that YES’s priorities continue to be the growth of our business and assisting our customers to get their safe and reliable products to market in a quick and cost effective manner.
